After photographing thousands of families over more than a decade, I’ve learned that some of the best family photographs happen when we leave room for kids to be kids and families to simply connect.
You don’t need a major milestone to have your family photographed.
Family portraits can document a new addition to the family, growing children, birthdays, anniversaries, grandparents visiting, or simply another year together.
Choose from a petite family session, a classic family session, or an extended family session depending on the size of your family and how much time you’d like in front of the camera.
Extended family photography sessions are also available for grandparents, adult siblings, cousins, and multiple generations who want the rare opportunity to have everyone photographed together.

Family photography sessions can take place at my natural-light studio in Northwest Houston, at an outdoor Houston-area location, or at a rental studio of your choice.
My studio offers a bright, minimal setting perfect for clean and timeless family portraits without distractions.
For families who prefer greenery, open spaces, architecture, or a more organic setting, outdoor family sessions are available throughout the Houston area and are typically scheduled around golden hour for beautiful, soft light.
I photograph families throughout Houston, including Memorial, Spring Branch, The Heights, River Oaks, West University, Tanglewood, the Memorial Villages (Hunters Creek Village, Bunker Hill Village, Piney Point Village, Hedwig Village), Bellaire, Upper Kirby, Montrose, the Galleria and Uptown areas, as well as Jersey Village, Cypress, Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Brookshire, Sugar Land (Riverstone, Telfair), Missouri City (Sienna), Pearland (Shadow Creek Ranch), Friendswood, Clear Lake, The Woodlands, Kingwood, and other Greater Houston communities.
What to expect

Family sessions can take place at Grettart Studio in Northwest Houston, at an outdoor location, or at a rental photography studio of your choice.
Outdoor locations can be selected based on the look you want for your photographs, whether that means greenery, open fields, an urban setting, or something more architectural.
I photograph families throughout the Greater Houston area, including Memorial, Spring Branch, River Oaks, The Heights, Bellaire, Uptown and the Galleria area, Jersey Village, Cypress, Katy, Cinco Ranch, Fulshear, Brookshire, Tomball and surrounding communities.
Travel fees may apply depending on the location selected.

Family photography packages start at $399 and are available for everything from smaller immediate-family sessions to larger extended-family portraits.
You can choose the collection that best fits your family, the amount of session time you’d like, and the number of final digital portraits you want included.

Yes. Extended family photography sessions are available for larger groups and are perfect for documenting grandparents, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, and multiple generations together.
Extended family sessions include up to 8 family members, with the option to add additional family members for $25 per person.
During the session, we can photograph the entire family together as well as smaller groupings and individual family units.
