Q: How can I prepare for my newborn session?

• A: Once you've booked your session, you'll receive a comprehensive guide to help you prepare. From tips on dressing your baby to suggestions for creating the perfect home ambiance, this guide covers it all. It's designed to ensure a comfortable and photogenic environment, capturing the natural beauty of your home effortlessly.

Q: Are props included in the Newborn sessions?

• A: For fine art sessions, yes, props are included to enhance the artistic style. However, for lifestyle sessions, props are not included as the focus is on capturing a more relaxed and natural style

Q: How would we set up a date if we don't know when the baby will be born?

• A: We'll work together to choose an approximate date based on your baby's due date. As deliveries can be unpredictable, this date can be easily modified once your little one arrives. Flexibility is key to ensure we capture those precious first moments at the perfect time for your family.

Q: When is the best time to do the baby's session?

• A: For fine art sessions, it's ideal to schedule within the first 14 days after the baby's birth, but the sooner, the better. However, for lifestyle sessions, which are less posed, you have the flexibility to schedule up to 6 weeks after the baby's birth, allowing for a more relaxed and natural atmosphere.

Q: What if I booked a fine art session and the baby is taken to the NICU?

• A: If circumstances prevent us from conducting the fine art session due to the baby being in the NICU for an extended period, you have the flexibility to apply the retainer to a lifestyle session or choose another type of session in the future. Your satisfaction and capturing precious moments remain our top priority.

Q: What if my baby is very fussy during the session?

• A: Following the steps outlined in the preparation guide ensures a happy baby for the photoshoot. It's entirely normal for babies to cry, and as a trained photographer, I'm equipped to handle these situations. In my experience with over 2000 babies, crying is a common occurrence during sessions, and we plan for it.

Q: How can I help if the baby is fussy during the session?

• A: Your photographer is trained to soothe babies, so the best way to assist is to give them some space. If needed, they will let you know. While it might seem helpful to shout, click, or try to distract the baby, these actions can be overwhelming and may worsen the situation. Trust in the photographer's expertise, and together, we'll create a calm and comforting environment for your baby. If your assistance is required, rest assured, you'll be informed promptly.

Q: Do you have a studio, or do you only offer in-home and hospital sessions?

• A: Studio sessions will be available from mid-march 2024 forward!

Q: Can we include family members?

• A: Absolutely! Please note that there's fee per additional person included in the session to accommodate the extended time.

Q: What if I need to cancel my session?

• A: The retainer is non-refundable, but it can be applied to a future session. Life is unpredictable, and I understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Your retainer ensures flexibility, allowing you to reschedule and capture those precious moments at a later date.
